Trouble printing a PDF file on a Mac

Problem

You may encounter trouble printing certain PDF files. Some of the trouble might include:

The problem only happens with one or a few PDFs.
The same PDF(s) print without issue from Apple Preview.
The print job does not at all.
Parts of the print job do not appear or are cut off.
The print job causes a memory error on the printer.
The print job print very slow.

Environment

Adobe Acrobat in the Mac OS.

Solution

Do the following:

In Acrobat Professional or Acrobat Reader, go to the File menu and select Print.
In the Print window, click the Advanced button (see image below).
Check the 'Print As Image' option. Then, click OK.
Click Print.
