Printer paper tray does not completely retract into printer

Problem

I pulled out the paper tray and it would not go back in.

Solution

With some printers, the paper tray can expand to allow legal size (not just letter size) paper.

However, in adjusting the tray for legal size paper, the tray will not close all the way.

To switch the tray back to letter size, use the paper tray sliders (see image below for an example).
