Managing your Listserv email through a browser using WebMail/Office 365 can have an issue where the message approval messages sent to List Moderators can be auto-approved by just opening the email messages. Note: This does not happen when using the Outlook Desktop Client to manage your email.
This is caused by the “Link Preview” option being turned on by default in WebMail/Office 365. This is a per account feature so anyone having this issue needs to fix the issue for their own email account.
To correct this issues, the “Link Preview” option needs to be turned off which you can do by doing the following:
Log into Webmail
Click on Settings (the Gear symbol in the upper right of the screen) and click on “View all Outlook Settings”.
In the Settings pane, select Mail > Compose and reply.
Scroll down to Link preview.
Under Link preview, clear the Preview links in email check box to turn off Link Preview.
Exit Setting (there is no "Save" button for Settings)
