Set up E-mail on a Mobile Device (Tablet, Phone)

The information below is to setup you Office 365 email account on a mobile phone or tablet. The instructions are general, meaning that they can be used for most any mobile phone or tablet.

To start the setup

Find the 'Settings' option on your phone or tablet.
In Settings, select 'Add Account' or 'Add'. Select either Office 365, Exchange or Outlook ActiveSync

Email address:

Your userID email address (i.e., ces02014@mymail.pomona.edu (students or alumni) or ces02014@pomona.edu (faculty or staff))

Password:

Your Pomona Password

Username:

username (i.e., ces02014@mymail.pomona.edu (students or alumni) or ces02014@pomona.edu (faculty or staff))

Domain\Username:

username (i.e., ces02014@mymail.pomona.edu (students or alumni) or ces02014@pomona.edu (faculty or staff))

Server:

outlook.office365.com

Secure connection (SSL)

check this setting

Port:

443

The setup should now be complete.
